When is the happiest time for a baby under the age of one?
You've probably noticed symptoms of an unhappy infant, but what about signals of happiness on a newborn? It's not always simple to tell, and babies don't even show the first sign of enjoyment - a grin - until far after the first month.

Newborns
Mother's face and voice may calm a newborn. It might be frustrating for a mother to smile and talk to her sweetheart just to have the baby react with a sleepy look. That,  however, is a positive indication! "In addition to seeming peaceful, newborns are not capable of expressing any more pleasant emotions than weeping," explains Dr. Linda Acredolo, co-founder of Baby Signs, Inc. But when he turns to you and stares at your face, he is saying 'Life is good.

0 to 3 months
When a baby fits his body into his mother's arm without bending over, he is pleased and content. Babies at this age are content when their fundamental needs are met: someone to comfort them when they cry, someone to feed them when they are hungry, someone to change their diapers when they are wet, and someone to take a good nap when they are weary. For newborns, this is the most wonderful thing in the world.

3 to 6 months
Baby's world will become more fascinating when his or her smiles develop into chuckles. What will keep your baby alive? It's the intimate relationship with parents! At around 6 months, your baby enjoys playing surprise games, such as the traditional game of peek-a-boo, and it always results in a loud giggle.

You may use a crib mobile to help newborns to focus on and seek out objects of interest.

Is crib mobile safe? It's crucial to highlight, when your baby reaches five months, or begins to push up on their hands and knees, the time has come to put away the crib mobile. This might cause damage or even strangulation to your growing child if they are able to grasp it.

4 to 7 months
During this time, so-called "speech" is simply a collection of Ada Ada Ada noises, but is there actually a message being conveyed? Yes, indeed! Babies learn to imitate their mothers' voices and intonations as they listen to them, and then use their voices to communicate their feelings. When newborns talk in higher and higher tones, it indicates that they are really interested in engaging with you, according to Athena Vouloumanos, lead investigator at New York University's Infant Cognition and Communication Laboratory.

12 to 18 months
Babies begin to develop a sense of comedy around the age of one year. They may put diapers on their heads or converse with their little cups in order to make grownups laugh. According to research on children's humor development, doing something ridiculous with an object is a source of amusement in general; for example, a father attempting to put a baby's shoe on his foot may truly make a baby giggle.
